WAZZON

Community Guidelines

Version 1.1 · Effective September 4, 2026 · Last updated September 4, 2026

Welcome to Wazzon

Wazzon is for talking about what you’re watching with the people you want to talk to. The show you can't shut up about, the movie that wrecked you, the finale that let everyone down.

For that to be fun, it has to feel safe. That's the idea behind everything in our community guidelines: strong opinions about shows are always welcome; cruelty toward real people is not. You can say a series is garbage but you can't make someone feel like garbage for loving it.

These guidelines apply to everything you share on Wazzon—posts, comments, reviews, watch notes, lists, messages, group chats, and your profile (username, display name, bio, and avatar included).

Who can be on Wazzon

You must be 16 or older to use Wazzon. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, and we suspend accounts that don't meet the minimum age.

How we keep Wazzon safe

Our tools and processes for keeping Wazzon safe are always evolving. This is how we approach it today:

What we don't allow

First, what this list is not about. Wazzon is about movies and TV. Brutal reviews, hating a fictional character, "that episode killed me," heated debates, dark humor about dark shows, and spoilers are not violations. That's just how people talk about what they watch. These rules are about how you treat real people.

Keeping people safe

Don't threaten or encourage violence against real people. Saying you want to strangle a fictional villain is TV talk. A real threat against a real person (a user, an actor, a writer, anyone) gets you removed. Still fine: violent scenes from shows, hyperbole about episodes, "the showrunner is dead to me."

Don't encourage self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating. Discussing shows that portray these themes is fine. Content that promotes them or gives instructions is not. If you're struggling, please reach out to someone: findahelpline.com lists free, confidential support lines in most countries.

Don't post sexually explicit content. Wazzon isn't the place for pornography or graphic sexual material, and never share intimate images of someone without their consent. Still fine: discussing the sexual themes and scenes in the shows you watch.

Respecting each other

Don't harass or bully people. No personal attacks, pile-ons, or following someone around the app to needle them. Where's the line? "This performance was terrible" is a review. "You're an idiot for liking it," aimed at a person, is harassment.

Don't attack people for who they are. Slurs, dehumanization, or calls for harm against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity are not allowed, including "just joking" and coded speech.

Don't share private information. No posting anyone's address, phone number, workplace, private photos, or private messages without their consent.

Being real

Don't pretend to be someone you're not. No impersonating other users, actors, creators, studios, or Wazzon itself, both in your posts and in your username.

Don't spam. No bulk posting, follow-for-follow schemes, fake engagement, or unsolicited promotion.

Don't scam or deceive. No phishing, fake giveaways, crypto schemes, or deliberately false claims designed to cause real-world harm.

Following the law

Don't use Wazzon for anything illegal. That includes selling drugs or weapons, and any content that depicts or facilitates a crime.

Don't link to pirated streams or downloads. We love that you want everyone to see the show. Link to where it's legally streaming. Most content comes with links to the platforms it's available on.

Child Safety Standards

Wazzon has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We do not allow any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, no exceptions and no "it's from a show" carve-outs. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, and attempts to obtain or share such material.

Content like this is removed immediately, the account behind it is permanently banned, and reported to the relevant authorities.

If you see anything on Wazzon that endangers a child, report it in the app right away, or email us directly at support@wazzon.app.

Spoilers, friends, and being a good hang

A few things that won't get you banned, but make Wazzon better:

Reporting, blocking, and muting

To report something: tap the ••• menu on any post, comment, review, note, list, message, or profile, and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits best, optionally add a note, and send it.

What happens next:

To block or mute someone: tap ••• on their profile. Block means you're done with each other — they can't message you, comment on your stuff, mention you, see what you’re watching, or see your profile. Mute is quieter: you just stop seeing them, and they'll never know. Reverse any mute or block in the app Settings.

If something is urgent or you can't report it in the app, email support@wazzon.app.

What happens when someone breaks the rules

What we do depends on how serious it is, whether it's a pattern, and whether someone could get hurt:

A few things are severe enough that there's no warning and no ladder: child safety violations and credible threats of violence are removed immediately.

These examples can't cover everything that may happen. We may act on things that clearly violate the spirit of these guidelines, even if no rule above names them explicitly.

If we got it wrong

We're a small team, and sometimes we'll get it wrong. When we do, we want to fix it.
